Step 2: In a medium bowl whisk together flour/sugar/salt/baking powder thoroughly
Step 3: Using a pastry knife or fork cut in the cubed butter
Step 4: Keep cutting the butter into the dough until well chopped in tinier pieces through out
Step 5: Slowly stir in the milk
Step 6: Stir slowly until well combine and dough is sticky but leaves the side of the bowl
Step 7: Lightly flour the surface of your counter or work area
Step 8: Place dough onto the floured surface
Step 9: Gently roll dough into a ball by using the heel of your palm
Step 10: DO NOT OVER WORK - want to see the butter stay in pieces - if you think dough is too warm just place in fridge before rolling out
Step 11: Once a firmer dough has been lightly kneaded roll the dough with a pin to 1" thickness
Step 12: Take a 2"-3" round cutter or a round cup and press into dough
Step 13: Place dough on either a cookie sheet or into a cast iron 10" pan
Step 14: If using the cast iron pan dough will touch each other and fit about 6-8
Step 15: If using a cookie sheet you can space out more
Step 16: Cook biscuits for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden on top. Biscuits should fluff in heigh about 2-3x what they were. If your biscuits did not fluff up the dough was worked too long but no worries they usually a little fluffy still
Step 17: Enjoy immediately with jam, jelly, butter, PB, whatever you like!
