
Roasted Okra
Slice, spice, roast, sauce or dip it and enjoy!

Ingredients
- okra: 10 whole
- olive oil: 2 tbs
- sea salt: 3 tsp
- garlic powder: 2 tsp
- paprika: 2 tsp
- cajun (optional): 1 tsp
- onion powder: 1 tsp
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 425f.
- Step 2: line a baking sheet with parchament or just oil it well
- Step 3: Cut the okra long ways from top to tip (do not remove the whole bud part at the top)
- Step 4: leave the seads in tact they will not get mushy
- Step 5: in a bowl combine oil and spices - all spices are optional
- Step 6: Toss in okra and coat wll
- Step 7: layer okra on sheet with the cut side facing up and spaced at least 1/2" apart they can touch and still be fine
- Step 8: you can sprinkle more seasoning here too if using fresh herbs add at the end
- Step 9: Try some grated parm or bread crumbs too!
- Step 10: roast for 15 mins
- Step 11: Remove from oven and drizzle with any sauce - simply add cajun, lime or lemon jiuce and mayo to make a great cajun mayo dip!
